Petit Cenit is a sculptural candleholder in blown glass, conceived by Marta Armengol as a smaller-scale version of Cenit.
The piece invites an intimate gesture: melting the base of a candle directly onto the glass surface. Once lit, the flame transforms the work, casting soft reflections and moving shadows that animate the surrounding space.
Petit Cenit includes two natural wax candles and a cotton fabric wrapping, allowing the glass elements to be carefully protected when not in use. The first realised series of 10 is accompanied by a special cotton wrapping naturally dyed with kakishibu, using fermented persimmons harvested by Marta in Mallorca.
Subtle variations in form, tone and material are inherent to the artisanal process.
Each edition is accompanied by a certificate of authenticity. Copyright is shared between the author and Blau Eterea.
